Lymington Boat Jumble – Saturday 2nd March 2019
The 6th annual Lymington Boat Jumble in aid of 9th Lymington Sea Scout group is to be held on Saturday 2nd March 2019.
The event will be held from 9.30-12.00 at TS Kent (the Sea Scout hall), Kings Salterns Road, Lymington.
Now in our 7th year, this event provides a great opportunity to buy and sell (in good condition) boating clothing and jumble. Do you have items taking up precious space in your cupboards/garage/attic? If so, now’s the time to dig them out! We are looking for any of the following items:
- Boats and dinghies
- Kayaks and canoes
- Sups and surf boards
- Sailing gear for children and adults
- Buoyancy aids and lifejackets
- Wetsuits and rash vests
- Boots and dry bags
- Waterproofs
- and any other yacht/boat jumble you have lying around! (spare fenders, cleats, bits of rope….)
and of course if you find something else that you think might be relevant, give us a call!
Items can either be donated to 9th Lymington Sea Scout Group or sold on a commission basis as follows. For more information about terms and conditions, plus when and how to deliver items, see our Boat Jumble Terms and Conditions. You can also contact the Boat Jumble team on 07748600034 or infoboatjumble@gmail.com
“Every year we have had fantastic support from the local community and we were thrilled to raise over £3,000 last year” commented Anne Pike, sea scout leader. “Many local residents donated their second-hand sailing gear to the group to sell, with others selling with a donation going to 9th Lymington Sea Scout Group. We hope that this year’s boat jumble will be even bigger!”
